Erzgebirge Aue sign Jannic Ehlers from Bremen

Third division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue have signed another attacking player in Jannic Ehlers. The 22-year-old comes from SV Werder Bremen and can be deployed variably on both wings, the club announced. "Jannic Ehlers is a very straightforward player who has very good physical attributes and is a goal threat," said Sporting Director Matthias Heidrich.

Ehlers trained at KSV Holstein Kiel, then moved to Bremen before being loaned out to Weiche Flensburg for a year. In 94 Regionalliga games, Ehlers was involved in 40 goals with 28 goals and 12 assists. For Aue coach Jens Härtel, it is now new signing number eight in the team.
