Run over? Dead wolf lying on the road in Elsterheide

A dead wolf has been found on a road in the municipality of Elsterheide (Bautzen district). A woman reported the animal on Sunday evening, according to the police. According to the report, the animal may have been injured in an accident and was then left lying on the road. An officer from the Lupus Institute for Wolf Monitoring and Research took charge of the animal.
