A lottery player from Saxony has won around 2.2 million euros. The still unknown player had six correct numbers in the classic "6 out of 49" lottery on his ticket in last Saturday's draw. According to a lottery overview, he was the only lucky player in Germany.
The winner is the fifth lottery millionaire this year in Saxony. The other four big prizes were all won in the first half of the year. Two went to the state capital Dresden, one to Leipzig and one to North Saxony. It was initially unclear where the new millionaire came from.
