During an injury break, a Dresden spectator insults a Düsseldorf player. The latter makes the incident public.

Dynamo Dresden's first second division home win against Fortuna Düsseldorf was overshadowed by a racist incident. During an injury stoppage in stoppage time, a Dresden spectator insulted Fortuna kicker Emmanuel Iyoha. The latter immediately reported the incident to the fourth official, Lasse Koslowski.

The incident infuriated Dynamo coach Thomas Stamm. "I have asked these spectators not to come into the stadium again. They have no place here, but they also have no place in society. Something like that leaves me speechless. People can stay at home and those sitting around can be brave enough to let people know who it is," Stamm emphasized.
