The ski jumping elite actually wanted to avoid the Vogtland Arena again in the new season. As it is not possible to jump in Lake Placid, Klingenthal comes into play.

The Vogtland Arena in Klingenthal will host a Ski Jumping World Cup in the new season after all. After the Saxons were initially left empty-handed when the dates were allocated, their wish has now been fulfilled. As Lake Placid cannot host the event due to urgent construction work, Klingenthal has taken over the event on December 13 and 14. This was announced by the world federation FIS. According to the information, there will be individual competitions on both days.
