CDU parliamentary party conference begins

The joint closed meeting of the CDU state parliamentary groups from Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony begins this evening in Stolberg (Mansfeld-Südharz district). According to the party, health policy and economic issues will be discussed on Monday in particular. The focus will be on securing reliable healthcare, strengthening public safety and providing new impetus for economic development in central Germany. However, the possible premature retirement of Saxony-Anhalt's Minister President Reiner Haseloff (CDU) is also likely to be at the top of the agenda.
