Cyclist stopped on drugs and with a souped-up pedelec

The Chemnitz police have caught a cyclist with a modified pedelec. During a check, performance-enhancing modifications were found on the e-bike. However, the 24-year-old did not have a driving license or insurance cover for it, the police said. Charges were therefore filed.

In addition, a drug test was positive, which resulted in further charges. The tuned bike was confiscated by the officers.
