Five people have been injured in a work accident at the Semperoper Dresden. According to the fire department, they fell about one and a half meters from a higher surface during a rehearsal for Giacomo Puccini's opera "Turandot". They were taken to Dresden hospitals in ambulances. According to reports, they were choristers.
The cause of the accident is now the subject of further investigations. According to the fire department, the opera has announced that all performances scheduled for the weekend will go ahead as planned.
